If you want to add your personal documents to your Kindle for mac, please convert your personal file to mobi format, and then put the file to your kindle content folder for kindle for mac. You may find the folder here: /Users/Mac user name/Library/Containers/com.amazon.Kindle/Data/Library/Application Support/Kindle/My Kindle Content
